Hello, my name is Jane Bailey and I am the owner and creator of Bailey Creations. Every piece of jewelry you see on my site is meticulously handcrafted, making it truly one-of-a-kind. My fascination for creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces began at a young age when I would take apart my jewelry and modify it to reflect my personal style and taste. Although I didn’t realize it then, my early habits with jewelry would later make Bailey Creations what it is today.
Before starting my jewelry line, I was a decorative painter. In my downtime, I began hand painting pendants and charms. The transition from painting murals to painting jewelry came naturally, not to mention I enjoyed painting on the ground much more than I did on a high ladder!
My jewelry design philosophy starts with an affection for unique designs and a respect for classic elegance. I am continuously drawing on classic techniques for inspiration and updating these techniques with a modern twist to keep abreast of the ever changing requests of my clients, both new and old. Merging basic design principles with a modern-day vision, I am able to create pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and timeless.
I am proud to be represented in approximately 50 stores throughout New England. As you can see, I work with with large amounts aluminum, copper, and sterling, but I am not limited by these materials. I also hand paint pendants and can create jewelry using old pendants and antique buttons. I am extremely skilled at transforming family heirloom pieces, vintage or broken jewelry, or found stones into something new and wearable.
